In a statement on Thursday to the Lebanese radio station Voice of Lebanon Minister of Justice Ibrahim Najjar withheld information regarding the matter of the two American citizens that disappeared in Lebanon for security reasons.

Najjar said that the matter is being handled by both Security Forces and the Ministry of Interior. On the other hand he judged that this type of incidents would definitely affect Lebanon's reputation negatively and distress the foreign visitors. However Najjar confirmed that the matter will be raised during Friday’s parliamentary session.
