Ministry of Health announces 4 new cases of swine flu

iloubnan.info - June 29, 2009

BEIRUT - Ministry of Health announced on Monday that during the weekend it diagnosed four new swine flu cases in Lebanon.

The statement said that the total number of cases in Lebanon has now reached 39. It also read that all previously announced cases were treated, adding that the four patients are in good condition and have not shown any complications. No deaths have been reported.

BEIRUT - Four people were dead and twenty others wounded on Tuesday during a car accident in Jiyeh area, on the highway from the Capital Beirut to southern city of Saida, a security source told AFP. "A car accident in Jiyeh left 4 dead and 20 wounded", the security said, blaming it on "overspeed". According to AFP correspondent who was present there, a truck carrying stones, a small water delivery truck, a bus and an oil truck were the object of the accident.
