Number of swine flu cases reaches 35

iloubnan.info - June 26, 2009

BEIRUT – Minister of Health announced on Friday that 5 new cases have been diagnosed in Lebanon to be infected with Swine flu, bringing the total number of injuries to thirty-five.

The statement read that all 35 patients have or will be receiving treatment; adding that all the cases reported previously had recovered completely and most did not need to enter the hospital.

BEIRUT - Four people were dead and twenty others wounded on Tuesday during a car accident in Jiyeh area, on the highway from the Capital Beirut to southern city of Saida, a security source told AFP. "A car accident in Jiyeh left 4 dead and 20 wounded", the security said, blaming it on "overspeed". According to AFP correspondent who was present there, a truck carrying stones, a small water delivery truck, a bus and an oil truck were the object of the accident.
