BEIRUT – A bewildering blaze scorched out to destroy around 10 thousand meter squares of the green land of Reihan - Jezzine district, including many olive and pine trees.
The civil defense is currently working hard to put an end to the fire.

4 dead and 20 wounded in South Lebanon car accident

BEIRUT - Four people were dead and twenty others wounded on Tuesday during a car accident in Jiyeh area, on the highway from the Capital Beirut to southern city of Saida, a security source told AFP. "A car accident in Jiyeh left 4 dead and 20 wounded", the security said, blaming it on "overspeed". According to AFP correspondent who was present there, a truck carrying stones, a small water delivery truck, a bus and an oil truck were the object of the accident.
