At first, the idea was to create a “promenade” in Damour because of the road complexity in this area, especially with the lack of sand beaches and the railroads that pass through the sea: an investment coming from the fact that the lands were cheap and not agricultural.

At Oceana, which includes a wide seafront of about 320 meters but not a very profound beach, it was necessary to turn this inconvenient into an advantage. The idea of elaborating a real promenade along by the seafront was an ideal thing to do.

This is how many restaurants and cafés were established at Oceana; they are open every year since March/April. In this resort, coming and having lunch on the seaside becomes an objective and you will surely have the desire to jump into the water. Beside the great sea, four pools are available at Oceana and many famous restaurants are there to offer all their services around those pools like Crepaway, Dunkin Donuts, Tribeca, not to mention “La Suite”, a bar linked to its pool and coming from the classy bar “Zinc”, which attracts its own clients to the blue sea of Oceana.

Oceana also opens its doors at night and organizes the “Big Sundays” (in collaboration with Mix FM radio station) as well as many fashion shows. As for Bamboo Bay, which remains only diurnal, it seeks to serve visitors, whether families or young groups. It organizes animation games for kids on Saturdays and Sundays.
