Qobaissi: all Lebanese should rally behind the state

BEIRUT - Amal movement MP, Hani Qobaissi addressed the formation of the Preparatory Committee for the abolition of political sectarianism, during a commemoration of Imam Hussein, in the presence of delegations from Hezbollah and the Baathist party.
He said the Lebanese must implement all Taif clauses to the letter and not choose what suit us.

He hailed the Lebanese army and paratroopers who exerted strenuous efforts to recover the victims of the plane from the sea.

The MP added that the Lebanese state should draw all Lebanese irrespective of their sects and political affiliations. He called on the Lebanese government to boycott the Arab summit which will be held in Libya because its leader is involved in the abduction of Imam Sayyed Mousa al Sader.
