iloubnan.info - July 02, 2009
BEIRUT – President Michel Sleiman discussed the general situation with the Minister of State Jean Oghassabian on Thursday where he stressed that there should be no tolerance at all in regard of security breaches “especially since we are expecting a promising summer.”

He also stated that, “The Lebanese army and security forces have made a tremendous effort to protect Lebanese, prevent security breaches as well as in arresting perpetrators.”

He added that the people arrested include some of the involved in the Aisha Bakkar clashes in Beirut, where fighting broke out between Amal Movement supporters and Future Movement followers, and that resulted in one death and several injuries.
