National bloc party condemns the Aisha Bakkar incident
iloubnan.info - July 02, 2009

BEIRUT – National Bloc Party, described the events of Aisha Bakkar as a coup on the results of the elections and using the weapons as an extortion, without respect for the dignity of the individual and the inviolability of property.

The Party saw that “MP Michel Aoun should comment on his allies and their use of force and weapons to achieve political ends and to influence the formation of the government before discussing the interference of the embassies.”

National Bloc Party, after its regular meeting, headed by Carlos Eddé considered that what the army said in a statement on non-discrimination and arresting all those involved in the shooting relieved the injured participants.
