Salameh expects 6% real growth

BEIRUT – The Governor of the Central bank Riad Salameh confirmed on Tuesday that Lebanese financial markets and banking sector were positively affected by the democratic atmosphere that prevailed during the parliamentary elections. He pointed out that there was a significant increase in demand on Lebanese shares and Lebanese Pound deposit bonds, as well as on real estate prices. Salameh expected a 6% growth, in real terms.
